NAC N-Acetyl Cysteine 1000 mg per serving (2 capsules)
Description:
Maximum Free Radical Protection*
N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) is a stable form of the non-essential amino acid L-Cysteine. It is an amino acid that acts as a stabilizer for the formation of protein structures, and promotes the formation of glutathione.* Glutathione is a powerful free radical scavenging compound that also helps to maintain normal, balanced immune system function.* In addition, NAC can help to support healthy brain and neuronal tissues.*
PLEASE NOTE: NAC is a potent antioxidant. It is the precursor to glutathione, the most powerful antioxidant made by the body, and is a rich source of sulfur, a mineral needed to make some vitamins, hormones, and tissue. In fact, because of its sulfur content, NAC supplements can smell similar to rotten eggs especially upon opening. This does NOT mean the supplement is oxidized or expired. If this bothers you, we recommend dumping the bottle into a strainer and allowing them to off-gas and then returning them to the bottle.
